Due to this being a small batch process, there will be minor variations in weight (13 to 14.5 oz) and size (up to ½”).
Note that occasionally a pad may have a small crease or very small air pocket divots.These marks are cosmetic and will not affect the performance of the pad. The way the pad is cut may also cause a small taper or expansion of the foam thickness right at the edges.
The JAKK foam is not off-the-shelf, it is a premium foam, made and cut to order. Because the pad is made, cut and immediately packaged, it may have a slight odor upon arrival. This smell will completely go away once the pad is out of the packaging and used, unrolled for a few days. Also, part of the manufacturing process of this foam may leave a white/glitter like dust on the surface in spots on some pads. This is just surface residue from the process and will fall off. The foam does not continue to produce or evolve this white glittery dust. If your pad has some on it, you can brush or shake this surface dust off outside and it goes away.
